1971: Calypso comes to Carnaby Street
Carnaby Street in London was filled with the sounds of calypso when a band performed for passersby. Musicians Mighty Sparrow and Lord Kitchener were in attendance and spoke to reporter Joan Shelton about their music. "Kitch" was even persuaded to come up with an impromptu song about Nationwide.
