Lindis Percy (centre), 62, from Bradford, has scaled the gates of Buckingham Palace, been arrested countless times and taken legal action over US military bases.

Every week she protests with the Campaign for the Accountability of American Bases at Menwith Hill, North Yorkshire.

She says: "This is a lifetime's work for me. A small group of people is incredibly powerful."
