'Fair and equitable'

Pc Adrian Webber, 45, of Gwent Police, said: "We want a fair and equitable pay deal for the police.

"We feel totally aggrieved with a government that's failed to comply with the arbitration award of our pay.

"We put ourselves in harm's way on a daily basis."
