Barmpot (Will Mellor) is getting over his recent disappointment in love and all is well in his world – until he witnesses an armed robbery at a post office and recognises the lead perpetrator.
Keen to do the right thing, Barmpot comes forward to the police with what he knows. But when it seems that Barmpot's testimony is the strongest evidence the police have got, things turn nasty. However, when the lads learn about his plight, they get together with the rest of the posties, and ensure that the intimidation on Barmpot stops.
Meanwhile, on the brink of despair, Charlie (Hugo Speer) begs Abigail (Josephine Butler) for another chance. Eventually she agrees to give their marriage another go. But it looks like Kathy's (Eva Pope) marriage is over when she realises that Harry (Neil Dudgeon) is leaving her for Roisin. Kathy has one more bombshell up her sleeve. She reveals she is pregnant with Harry's baby.
Things are much rosier for another couple though. Dex (Dean Lennox Kelly) and Amy (Tracy-Ann Oberman) tie the knot surrounded by all their friends.
