We asked for your comments on Sorted. You said:

"A well written last episode that kept us hanging on until the very end. Will the marriages work and indeed the friendships last? And what happens to the armed robbers? Absolutely brilliant."

    Robert Reynard, Isle of Wight

"It really portrayed the united friendship all the lads have."
"This showed the sensitive side of Barmpot instead of the usual flaky side. It really portrayed the united friendship all the lads have and they would help each other no matter what.

Barmpot getting a woman was good, as he's a fine thing, the scene showing his bottom was lovely also.

Harry's wife is horrible, how could she get pregnant? It has to be Charlie's. With him being so smug with his wife, any future series would be good. I'd love to see how all the marriages and relationships are progressing."

    Kathleen, Ireland

"I can imagine the story of the robbery, and the subsequent threats to Barmpot, reflects real life, with all the violence we experience in this country today. I can fully understand his decision to change his mind about testifying, especially when it threatened his mum.

The wedding and the build-up was brilliant. If there's a second series don't let Dex and Amy split up, like in lots of other dramas. Let it be a genuine happy ending.

I've enjoyed the whole series, and will be lost as to what to watch on a Tuesday evening now."

    Dot, Oxfordshire

"Please tell me there's going to be a second series. I loved Sorted, fantastic series, being a postie myself I think this has done a great job of portraying sorting office life. Just a shame the only main female characters were canteen staff or wives. Us girls make good posties too. I just wish Dex, Barmpot and Radge worked at my place."

    Clare Maddocks, Shrewsbury

"Everything rounded off a bit too much for my liking."
"Good last episode - but everything rounded off a bit too much for my liking. A bit more of an edge needed. Radge did not get his comeuppance from "baldylocks" Hancock and his large minder Billy. If you messed with someone's cue in our pub you would need to carefully count your kneecaps afterwards. Also Jack was suddenly one of the boys and all smiley too quickly. Bring on series 2 as soon as possible."

    Eddie Lawson, Swindon

"What a great change to have a happy ending to a super series. With actors who have the talent to give us both laughter and tears, and yet remain believable this programme has been unmissable, please say there's more to come. And it's nice not to have to vote one off after each episode!"

    L Proger, Lancashire

"This was a fantastic episode. I especially liked the way everybody got together to help Barmpot. It was also nice to see Harry and Charlie getting on once again, despite what has happened between them. I sincerely hope there will be a second series as there are a lot of unanswered questions....I look forward to seeing it."

    Martin N, Coventry

"I ask Harry's questions probably on a weekly basis."
"This is the exact kind of programme that inspires me to want to become an actress.

It's very true to life and just enthralling to watch, my emotions are all over the place with each episode. In episode 6 I loved Harry's question about why can't life be straightforward and Roisin replying that it's because they are adults. I ask Harry's questions probably on a weekly basis in my life, proving the writers are keeping this drama realistic.

The scene with all the posties coming together to fight the armed robber for Barmpot was fantastic. I was in tears. Thanks for making my Tuesday nights so interesting, I love Sorted!"

    Rachael Lewis, Wales

"The last episode of Sorted was a bit like watching Fatal Attraction - everytime Barmpot came on screen you expected a face to appear behind him or a bunny to be boiling on his hob when he got home. It was brilliant. Will there be a second series?"

    Mrs Baggins, Shrewsbury

"Another excellent episode. It featured serious issues such as the benefits of standing up for others. Solidarity among friends makes this a feel good series and I will miss it."

    Parnell, Edinburgh, Scotland

"I'm a postman of seven years and thought this series was fantastic. Each episode seemed to get better every week. I can relate to most of the characters and the banter that goes on in the office. The radio war in episode 1 reminds me of the one that's raging in our office, very funny. Let's hope the BBC make a new series for next year."

    Mark Johnstone, North-East

"I've absolutely loved the whole series. Funny and sad, the characters made me laugh and cry. I really hope there is going to be another series - this is a real winner."

    Lisa, Bedford

"I'm gutted it's finished. Hope it's back soon."
"Sorted has been an excellent series, so different from other dramas. The last episode was no disappointment, it was a great end to the series. But I'm gutted it's finished. Hope it's back soon."

    Lisa, Stockport

"Absolutely first class. Believable characters who make you care about them. Great storylines, excellent cast. The second series should be priority delivery."

    Helen Tudball, Minehead, Somerset

"Sorted has been a fantastic visual experience where I have lived, breathed, loved and cried with all the characters. It was a wonderful series, now can we have more of the same insteed of the garbage like the fly on the wall, cheap television that has appeared on the BBC over the last few years? Leave all that sort of rubbish to Channel 4*, Five* and E4*. The BBC stands for quality in drama, please bring Sorted back."

    Chris Hickling, Nottingham

"This has to be the best thing to have hit the small screen in a seriously long time. The writing is sharp, the direction is spot on. You can't pick out one actor or actress as being better or more outstanding than the others.

It's been an absolute joy to watch, and all of the characters are brilliant. You can imagine them being really good friends off-screen, the chemistry is so good. I'm going to have withdrawals symptons when it finishes. Are there any plans for more?"

    Janie Gaston, Portsmouth
