This all ages event features the Derby performance poet Mark Gwynne Jones of Psychicbread fame. Mark, who has just completed a 26-date stint at the Edinburgh Festival, was described by the Independent as '...to poetry, what the 'League of Gentlemen' is to television'. The word@musiclab event will kick off with a massive attack of the verbals as MCs Anna and Joel hurl unlikely words about while Gwynne Jones weighs in with mighty metaphor. Providing the musical backdrop to the verbal shenanigans is musicmeister George Moorey and Gloucester solo artist - Ghosting. Ghosting are actually a combination of the solo artist formerly known as Dan Pierce and the aforementioned George. They will be performing their new music which has been described by the Guildhall as 'star-spangled and utterly hypnotic'. Local poets and musicians are welcome to come and join the skirmish.
