Payroll giving is an easy way to support us directly through your salary, changing the lives of some of the world's most vulnerable communities. It is simple to set up, easy to manage and it's tax-free. Donations are taken each payday from your salary before tax, which means more money goes to charity. That means A £20 donation would cost you no more than £16 and a £50 donation would cost you no more than £40.
How it works
The payroll giving scheme deducts your chosen donation to BBC Media Action directly from your gross salary and is tax free, so every £1 you give will only cost you 80p. If you're a higher rate tax payer, this would be 60p. Your generous gift, however big or small, will help trusted and vital information reach people facing conflict and crisis around the world.
