Severe rail disruption between Bedford and London

Rail services between Bedford and London St Pancras have been severely disrupted.

On Friday evening, National Rail said a person had been hit by a train between Bedford and Luton and all lines between those stations had been closed, but they have since reopened.

ThamesLink said services were starting to run again, but there might still be some disruption.

It said services were likely to be cancelled, delayed or revised until 20:00 GMT on Friday.
