The experts
Mary Hammond
Mary Hammond is a graduate and Fellow of the Royal Academy of Music in both singing and piano. Extensive work as a singer encompassed a wide spectrum of music, from opera, pop / rock, television, film, radio and live concerts.
She works as a vocal consultant to Cameron Mackintosh Ltd, The Really Useful Group, The Royal National Theatre and other national production companies on West End and touring productions.
As well as her continued close involvement with contemporary theatre she is currently coaching singers in television, radio and pop and rock groups with major companies. She regularly presents workshops on the integration of acting and singing at international conferences, including in the USA, Canada, Sweden, Denmark, France and the UK.
Shaun Kerrison
Shaun has worked in many roles in the West End including Associate Director of Les Miserables and My Fair Lady, Tour Director for the National Company and Resident Director of Martin Guerre.
He directed Baby and was Associate Director on J M Barrie's original play of Peter Pan and The Pirates of Penzance, both at The Savoy Theatre, London.
More recently, Shaun was resident director of The Lion King (Lyceum) and last year renewed his association with Les Miserables by staging Les Miserables in Concert both in Tokyo and at special gala performance at Windsor Castle for Her Majesty the Queen and President Chirac. Prior to his new production of My Fair Lady, Shaun once again assisted Trevor Nunn and was resident director on Victoria Woods new musical, Acorn Antiques.
Stephen Brooker
Stephen is firmly established as one of Britain’s leading Music Directors and Musical Supervisors.
He has worked extensively in the West End and was Musical Director for the London productions of The Woman in White, My Fair Lady, Miss Saigon, Les Miserables, Lautrec, Cats, The Royal Shakespeare Company’s production of The Secret Garden and the Royal National Theatre production of South Pacific.
Stephen worked as Musical Supervisor for Cats, the Irish dance show Dancing on Dangerous Ground, the International tour of Carmen Jones, concert performances of Grease, Fame and Hair throughout Scandinavia and Peter Pan at the Royal Festival Hall. He is currently Musical Supervisor for Les Miserables, Mary Poppins, Hair and co-supervisor for Miss Saigon (UK Tour) and The Phantom of the Opera.
