Little Prince Production

The Little Prince

In 2004 we were searching for 7-16 year olds, with great singing voices and a real passion for music and performing for a fantastic opportunity to star in BBC Two's film production of the musical fairytale 'The Little Prince'.

It was a one-off chance to audition for one of two lead roles, (one boy and one girl) or 40 chorus places.

BBC New Talent held audition workshops across the UK seeing over 6,500 hopefuls.

Here in our advice section we've got 2 short films showing what a typical audition is like for those of you who'd like to see what you might have to go through if you want to be a young singer and a film of The Little Prince production.

In Under-16 Showcase there's also a photobook of the performance.
