What and where
is Skara Brae?
We think the houses in Skara Brae would have had quite tall, cone shaped roofs, built from wood or bone and covered with seaweed. Life inside the houses would have been warm, with beds having bracken mattresses to lie on and blankets of sheepskin or deer hide.
