  1. Good night from the Brewery Fieldpublished at 22:00 GMT 23 January

    FT: Ospreys 24-24 Lions

    Fraser Watson
    BBC Sport Wales reporter

Mark Jones looked disappointed at the final whistle but in truth, it's a game his side came close to winning but also - were one clean gather from Angelo Davids away from losing. A breathless finish.

But for all the chaos and media frenzy they've had to deal with this week, Ospreys players produced 80 minutes for their fans to be proud off.

Don't underestimate how tough mentally it was for them to perform tonight. Whatever transpires over the next few weeks and months, this is still a side who will have a big say in this URC season.

As for you Storm Ingrid - eight tries, try bonus points for both sides, and an enthralling contest that went down to the final play. So pipe down.

Scarlets and Cardiff to come tomorrow, but for everyone here in Bridgend, now time to dry out.

    Goodnight.

Some really good play by the Ospreys considering the week they've had.

They played together... they now need to focus on the rugby and focus on what's on the pitch.

Edinburgh defended well but didn't do anything going forward in the 2nd half though I'd be asking to see where the TMO saw any grounding for the Bulls 3rd try if I were them.

  5. Final scorespublished at 21:55 GMT 23 January

The resumption of the United Rugby Championship (URC) brought plenty of drama with three closely-fought games.

    Edinburgh 17-19 Bulls

    Munster 22-20 Dragons

    Ospreys 24-24 Lions

  6. Man of the Matchpublished at 21:52 GMT 23 January

    Wow! Or maybe.....phew!

Even the hardest of hearts wouldn't have begrudged Ospreys a win tonight - but it isn't to be.

Dan Edwards tries a late drop goal but against the elements, it drifts away harmlessly. Credit to Lions though, they opt to keep things alive and suddenly, the Ospreys are defending.

Chris William Smith kicks for the corner and winger Angelo Davids wins the race to the ball, only to knock-on as he dives forward!

  8. Missed penalty: Ospreys 24-24 Lionspublished at 79 mins

    Ahhhh.

It looked over for all the world from Dan Edwards, but with some sections of the crowd already cheering, the wind pushes the ball agonisingly wide of the right post.

We have time for one more play.

Please please some good news for the Ospreys....

I agree with you David. Neil Jenkins would have been redundant had these tactics been deployed in the 90's.

And as I speak, Ospreys have another chance to go for goal. It's about 30 metres out but it's in front...

Why don't teams take penalty kicks very much any more? How many games have the Ospreys lost by not kicking penalties?

  12. Full-time: Edinburgh 17-19 Bullspublished at 21:39 GMT 23 January

It's a sickener for Edinburgh who led 17-5 at the break, but the Bulls came on strong in the second half to take victory in the Scottish capital.

Sean Everitt's side now have a lot of work to do to reach the URC play-offs.

Like last season, they will need a late run to get into the top eight.

    Ospreys 24-24 Lions

I built that up nicely....for nothing.

For the third time tonight, Lions hold up a lineout drive and win a defensive scrum. They are still camped in their own 22 though.

  14. Postpublished at 74 mins

    Ospreys 24-24 Lions

A great burst from replacement Cameron Jones and it's Ospreys attacking.

A penalty out wide follows and Dan Edwards puts his pack to within 10 metres.

Ladies and gents, could this be the moment?

  15. Postpublished at 72 mins

    Ospreys 24-24 Lions

Lions hammer away as Morne van den Berg feeds his forwards.

But a big tackle from Rhys Davies stems the tide and the ball goes forward.

There is suddenly an air of quiet tension around the ground. All to play for in the final eight minutes.

  16. Postpublished at 21:33 GMT 23 January

    FT: Munster 22-20 Dragons

    Chris Horsman
Former Wales prop on BBC Radio Wales

The Dragons were in full control for 75 minutes, but Munster wrestled momentum back in the last 5 minutes and that's what ultimately won them the game.

The Dragons will feel like this was a missed opportunity, Munster put the pressure on and the hostS handled the conditions just a little bit better in the second half.

More of the same story for the Dragons, close but not close enough in the end.

  17. Postpublished at 69 mins

    Ospreys 24-24 Lions

Conditions are worsening here in Bridgend, with rain teeming down as Daniel Kasende knocks on the wet ball.

From the scrum that follows it's a Lions penalty. The Ospreys pack got mangled there.

  18. Full-time - Munster 22-20 Dragonspublished at 21:29 GMT 23 January

A tough one for Dragons but they still take a losing bonus back home.

Those two tries from Gavin Coombes are just enough for Munster to end their losing streak.

  19. Postpublished at 79 mins

    Munster 22-20 Dragons

Great defence from Dragons on their own line again and Brian Gleeson is held up.

    Clock in the red now...

  20. try

Converted try - Edinburgh 17-19 Bullspublished at 70 mins

    Van Staden, Pollard con

The Bulls are on the rampage now.

Marco van Staden makes a charge for the line but it's hard to tell if he gets the ball down amid a sea of bodies.

After a TMO review the try is given, Handre Pollard knocks over the extras and the Bulls lead for the first time this evening.

On the balance of play in the second half, they deserve it.
