The Essential Mix at Amnesia

In the early hours of Sunday morning the Essential Mix landed at Amnesia as guests of Bugged Out and Big Beat Boutique. We asked the crowd which Radio 1 DJ they would like to invite for dinner as their guests.

Tony

Tony from Leeds
Judge Jules. He's got a great musical knowledge and is quite intelligent

Simon

Simon from Huntington
It's gotta be Julesy. Though I know a couple who went to dinner with him the other day and he didn't pay his way

Garlands Girls

Becky, Caroline and Ally from the Wirral
Trevor Nelson. Because he's gorgeous. Pete Tong too.

Sarah

Sarah from St Helens
Sara Cox. She's from Bolton and she's as laugh

Swansea Posse

The Swansea Posse
Sara Cox. She seems like a right nutter

David

David from London
Danny Rampling. He's brilliant

Sarah and claire

Sarah and Claire from Southampton
Judge Jules. I love the way he gets the crowd going. I think he'd help serve up too

Corine and Saly

Corinne and Sally from Bracknell

Hayley

Hayley from Manchester

Sue

Sue from Peterborough
Dave Pearce. He just seem so up for it and a right laugh

Mark

Nick from the South
It would have to Mark and Lard. They're such a laugh

We love Jules

Mark from Leeds
The Judge. oh yes. Judge Jules is coming to my house because Jules is big. Jules is massive. Jules is 'aving it. We want Jules. I love Jules.

Judge JulesJudge Jules from Higate
John Peel. He's seen waves and waves of generations of DJs come and go at Radio 1. Though I have met him once or twice I've always been really in awe of him. You just think that until you've been at Radio 1 for about 10 years there's no point in even approaching him because he'll just see you as one of those many waves of DJs that come in and out as he, the hardy perennial, stays there. Here's hoping I can discuss this theory with him one night
