On Sunday afternoon, the Essential Mix took over Space where London's Home has been residing over the Summer. Pete Tong was joined by Carl Cox, whose legendary Essential Mixes from Space have become the highlight of the year for many clubbers. With such a diverse selection of fashion victims and scene queens on show, you really did have to accessorize to get yourself noticed.

Carl was out to prove to Sara that he was the biggest Cox on the island this year, the only accessories needed were a box of tunes and a place to play them

The fan is a popular accessory, though we can't work out why she'd want to hide behind it...

...perhaps she was hiding from this Hare Krishna

He can hide behind the hat and shades, but Woody from Cheers was havin' it as much as the next guy...

...who happened to be a Space nurse blowing bubbles over horizontal clubbers to revive their aching limbs... like you do

Someone should have told this clubber that you didn't need a bow tie to get into Space

"Hey Carl. Have you got the one that goes "Never seen you looking as lovely as you do tonight...""

"...Or even 'Space Cowboy'"

Both Pete and Carl played a blinder, but when asked, this girl was in no doubt about which of the two DJs she preferred... Tong of course
