BBC Safety have developed a Safety Short on Vehicle Safety Checks.

Vehicle Safety Checks summarises the safety inspection, servicing and record keeping requirements for:
- Technical / Commercial vehicles over 2 tonnes (OB trucks, VSat, SNG, etc.)
- Pool vehicles less than 2 tonnes (lease vans and cars)
- Essential business need (EBN) pool cars
- Hire vehicles.
It also provides a '10-point roadworthiness checklist' to help you carry out a basic but structured safety check of your vehicle.
